If a user encounters this warning message after attempting to close a Case/Investigation, follow to below steps to resolve.

Instructions to resolve this warning message

Step 1: Identify the required case actions 

• Under the "Case Template" section of the case/investigation, identify which actions are required by the red asterisk (*).

Any case action that does not have an * is optional for the closure of the case

Step 2: Complete the case actions 

• To complete these case actions, click on the down arrow on the righthand side of the action
• Once this is open, you can choose to select an existing item to complete that action, or create a new item

Selecting this arrow may also be helpful in determining what type of item needs to be created, some actions will require a specific entity type, or specific document type to complete

Step 3: Close the Case/Investigation 

• Once all of the required actions are complete, you may close the case/investigation.
