Symptoms: 


1. An approver in your workflow cannot approve a document after following the steps here

2. You need to replace or update the approvers on a document


Steps to resolve:


  1. These steps assume you are the original author of a document, if you are not you will need to have the original author or Kaseware Support complete these steps for you
  2. From the left menu click on "My Work"
  3. Highlight "My Monitored Items" then click "View All..."
  4. Under the "Draft Documents" section locate the document who's workflow you wish to restart
  5. Click on Workflow and select "Cancel Workflow"
  6. You will be prompted to enter a reason why you are canceling the workflow
  7. From the left menu click on "My Work" again
  8. Highlight "My Workbox" and click on "View All..."
  9. Under the draft "Draft Documents" tab locate the document who's workflow you canceled
  10. Click "Edit" on this document
  11. Click "Workflow" within the document and select your desired approver(s)
